Hello !
I'm trying to use async on Oracle 9.2.0.6 with Sles 9 with Sp2. The
installation worked fine, there is no obvious problem. I recompile oracle with
async support with no problem. Then restart db with async enable,  but when I'm
trying to create a tablespace (4 datafiles, 1 G each) the Sqlplus tool (or
dbastudio tool on a client machine) it broke with "ORA-03113 (See ORA-03113.ora-code.com) end of file on
communication channel". Recompile oracle again with no async support and after
restart I have no problem on creating the tablespaces ! There is any known
issue about that or I'm just "lucky" to have a specific situation ?
