Ethan - If you haven 't had the wonderful experience of tracking down an
ORA-03113 (See ORA-03113.ora-code.com) error before, you have a great treat in store. Basically ORA-03113 (See ORA-03113.ora-code.com)
is a "catch-all " error, very non-specific.
Take note of Jacques suggestion.
On Metalink see note 1020463.6 for background in diagnosing the 3113.

Both servers are Oracle 8.1.7.4 EE 64 bit on AIX 4.3.x, should be same patch
and maintenance level. Anyone seen this type of behavior before? I
connected to each database directly on the server using SQL*Plus.
